Farming & Organic agriculture
Le Ragnaie estate extends over an area of 28 hectares within the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena. Our lands are cultivated with vineyards and olive groves, following the guidelines of Organic Agriculture, and are located in three distinct areas of the Montalcino district.

Our vineyards
Our vineyards are planted exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, grown according to the guidelines for Organic Agriculture.
The vineyard of the same name, Le Ragnaie, is the highest located in the central part of the hill itself and is made up of vines ranging from five to forty years of age.
We have great luck being able to cultivate highly suitable vineyards in three different micro-areas of Montalcino. This allows us to make wines that are different from each other and bear witness to their territory.
The cellar
Our cellar is located at the Ragnaie headquarters, in simple, rational spaces that allow us to work in maximum safety and cleanliness.
After the harvest, the grapes are selected on a vibrating sorting table where the best bunches are chosen, allowing us to only vinify the top quality grapes.
The farmhouse
The farmhouse, completely immersed in nature, represents the ideal place for a unique holiday in Tuscany. An atmosphere of natural hospitality in a location where you just need to open a window to dive into a picture full of colours, smells and traditional flavours.
